For this assignment, you will need to imagine that you’ve reached that goal, and you just started working in the nursing position of your dreams. Using your imagination, write a high-impact business email to a colleague. It will not suffice to say simply “How are you? I’m fine. The weather is nice here. Hope you’re doing well!” You must develop a scenario for which you might actually send an email. Perhaps you have encountered an ethical dilemma, a project that has run off the tracks, or you have a quality improvement idea that will blow your colleague out of the water. Your email should be a minimum of three paragraphs. You will need to be sure to include the following: Fully describe the ethical dilemma, project, or clinical problem that you are addressing. Offer a solution to the problem presented in point 1. Provide a beneficial overview of the solution that you provided. Fully explain how the solution you presented will benefit the organization and patient population. Be sure to read the general guidelines for sending a professional email before completing this assignment. You MUST use the provided template and include the following information: Start the email with an appropriate greeting such as Hello Dr. Tillman, Dr. Huffman, or Dr. Taylor. For this assignment you will need to use your mentor's name as the TO: section of the email template and place the other instructor’s names in the CC: Section Briefly introduce yourself and note your position, how long you’ve been with the organization, your background, etc. Proofread for errors and use standard punctuation and capitalization.
