The role of the community manager is mainly to nurture all of our online communities we deal with via Twitter & Facebook. This involves establishing and nurturing relationships with the community based on trust (the brand advocacy will follow). The community manager will: -implement strategies to encourage conversations and engagement -grow the communities -manage your social presence -create engaging content (with the help of the digital designer we mentioned earlier) content tailored to the networks you’re in, instead of just cross-posting. -monitor and participate in relevant conversations (if/when need be).
