I am looking for a researcher to investigate the fate of lanthanum in a mineral precipitation/surface complexation system. The intended outcome of this research is to optimize the removal of lanthanum from solution. The minerals used in the precipitation system will be calcite, gypsum, and halite. The concentration range of lanthanum in the solution is less than 1 mg/L. Ideal skills and experience for this job include:

- Experience in surface complexation modeling

- Knowledge of mineral precipitation processes

- Familiarity with lanthanum chemistry

- Experience in experimental design and data analysis

- Strong communication and reporting skills.
