Fix Event error 1006 Windows registry, Component Services, SSL/TLS error when SSIS package tries to download from URL

I am getting the following error when trying to run a SSIS package. This error occurs when downloading a file from a URL location. I have read a bit about the error and it seems it's related to permissions as I am also getting a second error message in Event viewer. This is the SSIS error: [Download error] Error: [login to view URL]: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel. at [login to view URL](Uri address, String fileName) at [login to view URL]() This is the Event viewer error: The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {2DC39BD2-9CFF-405D-A2FE-D246C976278C} and APPID {DB336D8E-32E5-42B9-B14B-58AAA87CEB06} I have edited a number of the registry files and have tried to update the permissions but as yet I have been unable to fix the error. Should be a quick job for someone that knows what they are doing.
