Part Time Web Application Developer

An exciting opportunity to work in an Insurtech business and be a part of the digital future of the global insurance industry. Different Technology is looking for an experienced part time developer to supplement our small high performing team. The ideal candidate would have: 1) At least three years experience and a track record of delivering high quality web applications using Angular, PHP & Laravel. 2) Experience building web applications in an environment that does automated testing and continuous integration. 3) The ability to work independently, and keen to learn and contribute to the team. We run two major platforms: 1) Life insurance ([login to view URL]) 2) Crowdfunding ([login to view URL]) Our Development Environment We use Angular, PHP and Java as our primary languages and open source tools that include October CMS, SuiteCRM and Asterisk. All our infrastructure is AWS based and we are committed to Automated Testing and Continuous Deployment. We follow an agile methodology combining aspects of XP, Scrum and Kanban. Our developers mostly work remotely and choose their own hours. You will be required to do daily updates on Trello/Slack but the only time you need to be available is 09h00 (GMT +2) for daily standups.
