Job Description Beginning 1st of december 2016 we are looking for a Front-End Developer who is a pragmatic and solution oriented thinker and who loves to discuss problems and share solutions within the team and the stakeholders. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will be part of a cross functional team of designers and software developers. Responsibilities - Develop new user-facing features - Build reusable components for future use - Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs - Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders - Perform comprehensive unit testing - Create high quality code - Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability - Find the best approaches and tools to solve problems Skills And Qualifications - Strong record in delivering first class web interfaces - Strong knowledge in front-end technologies, especially HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript ES6 - Good understanding of server-side pre-processing platforms, such as PostCSS, SASS, module bundler like webpack and test libraries such as sinon, karma, chai and JS, CSS linter - Proficient understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS but especially of ReactJS - Good understanding of react-redux and redux-saga - Experience in incorporating REST APIs - Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them - Proficient reading, writing and speaking skills in German or English Nice to Have - Experience with IBM API Connect or [login to view URL] - Experiences with MongoDB - Interested in isomorphic Javascript, microservices and Backend for Frontends(BFF) - Interested in Data Science and Machine Learning Our Offer - 3 month contract with option of being extended - ReactJS, Redux, redux-saga based on [login to view URL] - [login to view URL] - weekly scrum sprints - at least 80% availability - preferable on-site, remote possible
