I am currently using a set of perl scripts for a website replicator. In the member back office I allow members to upload up to 7 photos per page for a total of 175 photos. With the use of imagemagick, I scale the photos to a desired value and create a thumbnail of each photo. The problem I have is when a member decides to upload a new photo to replace a current photo. The software will upload and show the new photo, but will not erase the old photo from the members folder. Because of this, members would keep uploading photos and taking up server space.
