Windows 2003 Server that is connected by remote desktop users. On the server we have a CRM system installed, the crm system is connected with a TAPI-client to WINDOWS TAPI. Our idea is to have SIP Softphone (Ninja softphone) that connects to our sipserver. When pressing dial in the crm it sends a command with TAPI and starts the call through the softphone. Our problem at the moment is that when starting and trying to call, the system responds " another program is using the selected telephony device". Try again after the other program completes". (the reason for using is to try the functionality first). The project to solve is to find a solution for this, our guess is that remote desktop somehow stops the tapi of working. I have a silverlight application that is working great in visual studio but it gives me an error in IIS 6.0 when i try to pass 1MB data via wcf to the server. You need to configure iis so that this problem goes away. Furthermore, I have given the ASPNET process admin rights so that it can access two folders on the server (not c root). Even with admin rights access is denied; only after I give everyone rights to the folder, can the ASPNET process access the folder.
