I am looking for someone who can work on their own initiative to manage a word press blog for an e-commerce website selling decorative homeware items.
You will have editor access rights to the WordPress site.
I will hire you month by month if the work is as needed.
Your main responsibility will be to create two relevant articles a week of at least 500 words, which should include images which we will provide where possible (or you can use your own) and product links with the aim of drawing organic traffic to the blog and website.
The articles will vary from being highly relevant to our products and industry to just fun and informative how to's and similar.
I will provide long tail keywords to work around but you will need to use your own creativity to make excellent content.
You will be expected to suggest ideas to create relevant and engaging content and also analyse the content of the competition and their blogging behaviour plus other similar bloggers, and current industry trends where necessary.
You will need to follow the yoast seo WordPress plugin which gives SEO advice on content creation.
Excellent written English with British or USA vocabulary is essential.
Occasionally we will provide content that you will need to proofread and adjust as you see fit to include in the blog.
I will make 4 milestones a month so you can deliver the content week by week or all at once with scheduled posts if you prefer.
