We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio of work demonstrating proficiency in video editing and a passion for the field. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team of creative professionals to produce high-quality video content that meets our restaurant and website.
Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with the creative team to understand the objectives of the project and the client's needs.
-Edit raw footage into a polished and visually engaging video that meets the client's specifications.
-Select and edit music, sound effects, and other audio elements to enhance the video.
-Ensure that the video content meets technical specifications for various platforms, including social media and broadcast.
-Work with the project manager to ensure that deadlines are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Specific Tasks:
In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, the Video Editor will be responsible for creating short video clips of our restaurant's food menu. The tasks will include:
-Reviewing and selecting the best footage of each dish to use in the video clips.
-Trimming and editing the selected footage to showcase the dishes in the most appealing way possible.
-Adding music and sound effects to enhance the overall viewing experience.
-Incorporating any necessary text or graphics to highlight important information about the dishes, such as their names or ingredients.
-Ensuring that the video clips are of high quality and meet technical specifications for social media platforms, including aspect ratios and video lengths. (15'')
-Collaborating with the creative team to ensure that the video clips align with the restaurant's branding and overall marketing strategy.
The Video Editor will be expected to deliver the edited video clips within a specified timeline to meet the restaurant's marketing needs. They should be able to work efficiently and creatively to showcase the dishes in the best possible way, ensuring that the video clips are visually appealing and engaging.
