I need a subject matter expert in the steel industry for an in-depth study on water circularity. Your main responsibilities include:
1. Data Collection: Gather comprehensive data on water usage, steel production, and wastewater treatment processes within the industry.
2. Quantitative Analysis: Conduct extensive analysis on the gathered data. Key metrics of interest are water consumption per ton of steel produced, water recycling rates, and energy consumption for water treatment.
3. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA): Delve into the steel manufacturing processes. Understand and document the usage and flow of water within these procedures.
4. Qualitative Analysis: After the metrics have been crunched, I want an interpretation and presentation of the data in an understandable and accessible format.
5. Case Studies: Find and present case studies that would help illustrate your findings and assertions.
Ideal candidates should have prior experience in conducting comprehensive studies and have a good understanding of the steel industry. Background in chem eng would be a plus. You should be proficient in data analysis, with strong research and critical thinking skills.
