Background:
The iTunes and Google Play web stores update every week (and sometimes more frequently), in all the countries they're available in. The updates contain changes to the featured music artists, tv shows, films and apps. Both the stores feature pages contains numerous banners, including the title banner which will rotate to display multiple features (more than would fit in a static page. The feature banner typically pauses 5 seconds before rotating right to left.
Requirement:
Screen capture the stores home page and defined sub categories, to include the banner transitioning (to a animated gif or png) and save it to a WP based image library with metadata (store country, date, etc). The update process should be initiated whenever the stores are updated, on a regular (weekly at present) basis, on a country by country basis.
Our server is Linux based with access to cron and other services. Our main site is WP based.
FYI - we're not requesting site scraping, which is not permitted by Apple + iTunes.
