We want to integrate our c# asp.net application with Sage 50 Desktop application and export PO and Invoices from our web application to Sage 50 and import payment details into our application.

I am a skilled ASP.Net Developer but I don't have experience with Sage 50 Desktop application and no knowledge of different methods that can be used for data transfer in between these two applications.
