Merge oscommerce file with module_template file

My design was being added to an oscommerce cart, and the person who was doing this didn't finish the job. I have no idea how to merge the files with the template he made for it; I need someone to show me what the hell to do. It's probably not all that difficult, but I don't know much about PHP. I need this to be started ASAP!!
