I need a programmer who is familiar with Open Graph [url removed, login to view] and data parsing using XML.
My site/script (A7) needs to follow this guide:
- Install familiar social tagging tools and optimize site content for popular social networks including Facebook, Twitter, and Google.
A7 metadata includes article-specific elements designed for sharing on Facebook and other social platforms where rich sharing is allowed. Facebook, the most widely used social network, adopted the Open Graph schema to ensure that “liked” and “shared” content would display cleanly on user’s profile pages and walls, as seen below. Well formed tags will also benefit in search engine optimization.
To optimize A7 content for social sharing, your Web developer will follow these three basic steps: 1. Make a request from the A7 servers for an article’s metadata in XML format 2. Parse the XML metadata and assign it to Open Graph tags in your page header 3. Make a second request for the article to display on your Web page
