product price showcase script(prefer vbulletin integration)

I am looking to build a comparison shop like site which would have different product listings along with fields to enter details and capability to upload 1 photo for each product. Remember this is not a shopping [url removed, login to view] don't need to add the buy product and checkout fields etc. Its simple product showcase with products added by a specific class of people designated by a particular usergroup in vbulletin. Obviously the site products need to be organized as a searchable product database. moreover i would prefer all this on a vbulletin environment using vb user db abd usergroups and if its easier for the coder using vbulletin functions for html/bbcode parsing and image uploading.

## Deliverables

Here are the pointwize features.

**1) main page...**

product category listings on left side. in middle recent products added(featured products, name with ratings and price.)

in this way mid block will have featured products(which we can specify in admincp maybe via product ids), recent products, and random products(4 for each)

**2) inside cat pages..opens when a person clicks a category link**

each category will have multiple sub category options. But depth can only be one

like this...but only level one depth required. main cats are like (computers, mobiles, digital cameras)

(subcats for computers will be like HDD, Processors. etc.

the subcats will have to be shown at the top in a presentation similar to this: http://avault.pricegrabber.com/home_catpage.php/catzero=17

below thAT there will be a automatic search results of the products in that category(with pagination sorted by date added) so when a guy clicks say computers category(at top he sees the sub categories and bottom a paginated view of the products in all the bottom subcats added to that category.

however when he click a subcategory, he will see the results for that subcategory only.

**3) the product on clicked shoud go to product page showing..**

capability to upload 1 image for each product.(this image is formatted on upload as a 100X100 thumb and say a 300X 300 thumb) the former comes in search listings, the latter in the main product showcase. the 300X300 is clickable to full image view which points to original image.

in the subcategories the different products are added by a class of users(say dealers). who falls into this category is decided by the admin.

4) i want a product search field to be searechable both by first 3 letters of city name and product name. the city name is entered by the dealer when product is added. So that when a search is made on either of the above fields a search interface absolutely same as the interface that was used for product listing in subcategories comes up with listings as per the search criteria alone.

5) finally i want that all dealers linked so as to allow a person to click on the dealer who submitted a product which takes him to a searchable db of all the products in the database only of that dealer.

vbulletin environment would offer you following things(which need not be coded.) #the user registration and usergroup roles permission(who is normal member and who is dealer) this will be done by me you just have to take the permissions. #easy syntax for showing editors and parsing bbcodes and html

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

all this must work on vbulletin platform. apache sql and standard php 4.4. compatible coding only.
