Fix issues with Android App

I have a fully functioning app on the Android Market and I am seeing crashes using newer released phones since the app was launched. This seems to mainly be centered around loading images from the gallery.
This app is using cocos2d-x to do processing of the images, so the issue could simply be in the Java loading of the images or within the cocos2d-x (C++) part.
The project is to fix the problems with using the main features of the app on the following handsets:
Galaxy Note (3/4/Galaxy Note Edge)
Galaxy S4/S5
Galaxy K Zoom
Nexus 7
This project would be deemed complete when the issue(s) are identified and fixed.
