The Android app I need help building will have one screen and a classic left menu (hamburger).
Main screen will contain an infinite list of cards, of 3 types. The cards' complexity is not high, it will have 3 elements or so (2 actions and a picture/video):
photo cards, similar to facebook: a title, a large photo, and some metadata at the bottom
video cards, also similar to facebook: title, video, metadata at the bottom. Videos should auto-play muted when they're on the screen more than 90%
Google Native ads: [login to view URL] (they'll look like the other cards, with one extra metadata item specifying it is an ad)
All requests will be made to private APIs that I own and that will be online when you start work. Design is also provided.
On the hamburger menu, there will be just a few options:
main page (goes to the main screen)
remove ads: a button that shows an admob Rewarded Ad, and in exchange we remove all ads from the main screen + remove the "remove ads" button from the hamburger menu
rate us: a button that launches a popup, with 3 options: "I hate this app", "This app is meh", "Loving it". The first 2 options will launch the gmail app with pre-filled title, subject & body, and the "Loving it" option will take you to Google Play.
Lastly: After at least 2 days since the first app launch, when the user wants to leave the app ([login to view URL]()), we should show the "Rate Us" popup.
Requirements:
follow Android best practices
use well known libraries like Jackson, Retrofit, Picasso/Glide etc.
The code needs to be simple and easy to mentain so that if you can't help with future updates some other dev can take over without any issues
