Detecting Images Within An Image

Hey,
We are looking for someone to code a script that can detected emojis within an image. An example screenshot is attached.
We have experimented internally with imagemagick's subimage search but it's too slow. Ideally, we'd like this script to run in less than 2 seconds. We think utilizing phashes would help but we are don't have the time or experience needed.
