Phase #2 of thermostat project: for TopGunPk only

This is phase 2 of the thermostat design project. Here are the details (same as agreed to in previous project):

There are just a couple of changes to the details below:

#1: We'll have a total of 3 complete samples made

#2: PCB fab cost and shipping to Pakistan will be $250 (as quoted by Zeeshan on June 2, 2014). So project total will be $250 + $50 for assembly and testing.

Details of Project (as proposed by Zeeshan via email):

PCBs Fabrication (China)

PCB Size = L x W = 10cm x 10cm (this is as per your present box size, the final sizes will be considered when we have designed the PCB and hence cost will be based on that).

QTY PCBs = 3 (2x for your test prototypes, 1x for in house testing and full thermal & power load testing to burn out)

Tooling charge (1-time / design) = 290.0 (not charged at subsequent orders)

PCBs cost for total 3x pcs = 18.4

RoHS HASL cost = 12.5

E-Test @ Fab plant = FREE

S&H = 20.0

Total charge = 341.0

* PCBs Cost is for above mentioned size, will change with change in size.

* This cost has to be paid upfront before the fab company will start the process.

BOM Parts

At actuals from Digikey (either you can send us the parts via courier OR you can pay us to get the parts). Not finalized at this time as this will require the full BOM planning process and be available as exact value after PCB Design is finalized. (however, as per our discussion, I will try to keep your max limit for 100 pc qty at 35 USD per piece in mind to select BOM).

Assembly

Assembly + live Test of 2x Test prototypes = 50.0

S&H of prototypes to you via DHL or FedEx against your import account number. You can provide an input account that you may have with DHL or FedEx (whichever is available and convenient to you) and we can ship the 2x test prototype boards to you via this.

Project Process Flow

You can launch the present project for design services. Once the design is complete, we will have the finalized list of BOM and the final PCB dimensions + Fab & Assembly files (these are generated from the CAD software used to design the PCB).

Based on the final list and files, we can get an exact quote of the PCB fab (for prototype and for full production). Then you may launch another project and pay the PCB Fab + assembly cost and the process will start.

We will assembly the 2x Prototype PCBs here with the parts from Digikey that you send to us (or alternatively we can purchase based on cost paid by you), program and test the boards and ship them to you via a courier with which you hold an import account.

Chinese fab houses are non responsive for Assembly of small quantity order, so we will do it at our test facility, and this makes sense as well as they also have to be tested and programmed after assembly.

Once the prototypes are reviewed and tested by JP Ventures, TopGunPK will assist JP Ventures in placing the first production order with the supplier that is chosen for production and ensure all issues are worked out.
