Help to install Netbeans on Mac (Mountain Lion), for C with MySql

Just need some help with Netbeans IDE (Mac Mountain Lion) to be able to compile programs that have connectivity to MySql.

I will share my screen and I hope you can guide me using Skype or WebEx.

The object is to help install the required mysql support files (like the library files) so that a C program can compile and connect to a local host mysql db for read and write. The project is complete when the program is successfully displayed three records in a simple table (localhost) and when it has inserted one record.
