Contest Brief

I need a banner design for my YouTube channel. The name of the channel is TheAccidentalJedi. I want the designed banner to be reminiscent of Star Wars and be as cool as possible and not a comical banner, even though the name of the channel seems comical in nature.

I would also like to have at least one Jedi or Sith character that is on the banner itself as well to represent myself on the channel. The color of the lightsaber for the Jedi or Sith can be: red if you want to design a Sith or dark Jedi styled banner or blue, if you want to design a Jedi, styled banner (I am a bit lenient with this as well, so if you think you have a better idea that uses a different color, go for it, I might like it a lot. I also would like the name of the YouTube channel to be somewhere on the banner as well. Again, the name is: TheAccidentalJedi

When you add the name to the banner, you can definitely be creative with it, and it doesn't have to be with no spaces, feel free to make it interesting and different, be creative with it. As long as a user who goes to the channel is able to know that the name of the channel is TheAccidentalJedi, I'm happy.

I don't have any videos on the channel yet, so you won't have a reference for what the channel is about through videos, but I plan on making philosophical, political, and other such videos on this channel.

I don't want the Jedi or Sith to look exactly like me. Although I don't want it to be completely different than myself either (for example, I am a young (20 year old) white male with straight, dark, medium length hair, don't make the jedi or sith with an afro or curly hair. Other than that though, be creative, I don't want a mirror image of myself, but I don't want it to be completely different, I hope that makes sense). If it doesn't make sense, feel free to cover my face with a hood or mask or something else that you find to look interesting or cool. I will include an image of myself in the files also.

Also, whoever does win, I would like to have access to all of the photoshop, illustrator, and other files as well in case in the future I want to edit something specific myself.

Another thing as well, please use YouTube's guidelines for making a banner so that it fits within the banner size requirements for YouTube so I do not have to change the size later. Anyways, I hope to see some awesome banners coming from all of you. Good luck, and I know this is not a guaranteed contest, but I highly doubt that I wouldn't choose a winner, I'm not super picky, I will simply pick the best of all the submissions. I also hope to work again with the winner of this contest and may hire you for another job in the future.
