Contest Brief

Hi Guys, Im a musician and entertainer in Australia and am starting a new project. I have found with my years of performing that there is nothing more powerful than a room full of people singing at the top of their lungs. I plan to build a community (Army) through bringing shows to venues all over the countryside. I have seen research that shows that singing is hugely beneficial to health and well being and I think in this day and age of pseudo cyber friends it couldnt be more needed.
So I have and agent and we have settled on The Sing Along Army and I really like it. So I need a logo for the website and also for a T Shirt and other merch down the track. Thus there are 3 things to consider with the design.. 1. Singing of course 2. Military i.e. Army and 3 and very importantly health. So there it is you wonderfully creative artful people. Id love to hear from you.. here is 2 shots of me with a crowd doing just that, which may inspire.

    Therefore Icons to think about are: microphone, roses or heart = health, something military. mouths=singing. and so on.

    Also. Im looking firstly for something warm and friendly and kind of the anti war in a sense. People coming together to sing as a group to feel good, to uplift themselves and also to meet people in their own community. Also i know from experience that a lot of older folks will be coming to these shows. So that why if you focus on things like tanks and soldiers and weapons, i think it needs to be lightened up with things like roses or hearts. I want people to wear a T shirt with this logo on it with pride. look at the classic Guns n Roses T Shirt with the round shape and the 2 roses on it. I have always loved that shirt and hope for something along a similar line. Some of you have used a guitar in the logo and I would rather a microphone as that is more about singing than a guitar is. So please keep working on it as i havent found the one that i absolutely love yet and remember i also want it to a logo i can use on emails etc as well as a T Shirt. thanks again for all you help.

    So what i am going to try and build is a community of people that come to the shows to sing their hearts out and feel good, so maybe its less military and more like the Salvation Army in its representation. The one from Yogesh is starting to head in the right direction..please revise and get back to me.. thanks everyone. Keith

    HI Everybody and thanks for all the wonderful ideas.. the one thing that i want to have included is that singing is good for your health and thats going to be the main push of the shows i will be doing. I will be putting it out there to "Come along and sing its healthy, uplifting and very good for you. so something like a heart in the logo or another symbol which signifies how good it is for you.
