Contest Brief

We wish to create an overview of a roadmap for companies involved in supplying to the mining sector. The companies are small medium enterprises (SMEs). Their world will be changing a lot in the coming 10 yrs. the illustration we are providing is a rough approximation of how their world will change.

We want this illustration to be used in a presentation to provide an overview (NOT the detail) of:
- the drivers of change
- the challenges they face
- the sector competitiveness plan details how their worlds will change if you want to get a deeper understanding of it https://www.metsignited.org/Category?Action=View&Category_id=74 a copy is also attached to this competition
- what the future looks like (Pages 128-131 of the plan above)
- the one page Roadmap needs to be a guide to business owners who are needing to navigate their way through these changes

We have made a (v ugly :) mock up of an idea of how this could be done. Dates across the top, sense of movement from left to right, etc. Its a guide and is the type of approach we suspect will be successful - let your creative ideas some to the fore

The creative should consider:
1. The styling and colours of the sector competitiveness plan doc
2. The corporate colours - to the extent that you believe they fit with your concept
3. Make SMEs the focus
4. Keep it simple - we can add complexity to the story when we explain it
5. Make it fun (if you think it needs to be a cartoon - then go ahead)

Following discussion with my marketing manager, entry #22 is the standout candidate. Its simplicity is what attracts us. Others that are more complex or garish have been downrated as a result.

  Not really interested in animation - more the process that people will need to think through to go from where they are today to where they need to be. Entries 6,7 and 15 capture this pretty well - they have made it simpler. Happy to make it simpler. Its far too busy at the moment - get the big picture view

hello..., checked the attached ppt i have some quires you have shown some images in the right top corner in the ppt but we can't see these images clearly so not able to think of replace of them or what to use there so can you explain what that images are please....

  Correct - you can choose to become a network associate and then download or doanload the attachment to this competition. They are the same doc
