Hi guys. This is a fun but deceptively difficult contest. Top 3 placers will be given a $100 prize each.

You will need to be good at iTunes and have lots of spare time to find songs that I like. They need to be electro in nature and similar to the songs on this list (especially the first two):

Obviously it's very subjective, but I know good songs when I hear them.. and will reward accordingly.

Please present your findings in your own Google Sheets document (columns: song name and artist). I'll review each one (or as many that time permits) and the prizes will go to the three people who found the most songs that I like.

Include up to 50 songs in the list.. maybe you will find 10 songs that I like so much that you win, but it's probably best to aim for 50 if you have enough time.

WOW... by the end of this contest you will have over 300 tracks people have found for you... at 100 AUD is like 76 USD... mmm... I 'll pass.. and I have tons of electro... I am talking rave electro tracks.. not your radio all the time play stuff.. good luck freelancers...

  Hi, yes I could have awarded more money, but then there would be even more entries to review. As it is there's already 500+ songs that need to be rated! I'm not into rave style myself but respect your taste in music.

With all due respect, the first song on your list has nothing to do with electro music. Maybe, you should correct that statement, so people could help you in finding what you need.

  That depends on how you understand electro music. Electro can actually be anything, it relates to the way the music is produced as well as to the instrumentation. The Telharmonium or the Theremin is a good example of the early origins of today's electro music.

Guys, just a note to everyone whose entry was rejected.. It was not due to low quality work, but rather everyone needs to read the brief and submit a link to a Google Sheet with song names in one column and artists in the other.. the sheet needs to be 'View access for anyone with link'. Hi guys, it might be a few days until I can review all your entries. In the meantime, please ensure that you have the two columns (song name / artist) as separate columns if you don't already have that format. Once everyone has submitted their final list I will collate them all together into one big list and rate the songs, calculate an average score and use it to determine the winners. Thanks :)
