Contest Brief

I would like to import roughly 100 000 products from a source website onto a marketplace similar to ebay by means of an XML file that will be uploaded/retrieved daily by the marketplace.

Things you will have access to :

Website to obtain source files (csv files with description) - See "CSV sample.zip" attached and view readme file inside it.

I am not sure how many ways there are to get the files but the only way I know requires logging into the website and then a few clicks needed to get to the download area , select category and finally export file needed.

My website ftp details for space to "drop" the prepared xml file too. (the XML will need to overwrite itself everyday so that the filename remains the same)

Cpanel access as well

Sample of output XML file attached, tradefeed_1.zip (the XML cannot be larger than 25mb, the output file could also be compressed into a zip as attached sample.

Other info :

The pricing in the csv is in USD, I need it to be converted to ZAR (South African Rand) in the output XML

I would also like a markup applied to that price (for the moment, one markup % for all items)

There is also one line of text that is in most product descriptions, I would like that line removed completely.

The process must run automatically and be complete by a certain time each day.

I presume this will be accomplished by means of a script and other, all necessary parts must be on my server but please note that the hosting plan is not very high so the script and process needs to be as light as possible.
