Contest Brief

We need a logo designed for our animated explainer video business. Our business name is Video Chateau.

Some of the words we use to describe this business are: explain, simplify, connect, understand, creative, friendly, quality, premium.

There are two main elements to our logo:

1. The symbol should look like a coat of arms shield with a play symbol inside it. The top of the shield should look like a castle battlement/crenellation. The colour of the shield should be blue (RGB/HSV values attached), and the play symbol red (RGB/HSV values attached).

2. The typeface needs to look professional and creative. We quite like FF Ernestine but are open to other suggestions. The typeface colour should be black and capitalised.

I have attached a rough mockup of our logo idea. Please use this as a guide, however do not let it hinder your creativity.

We will require the finished product in the following file formats: PDF, JPG high res, AI, PSD, PNG (floating), as well as white background and black background versions.

In your bid please put the word “potato” so I know you have read and understood all this brief.
