Contest Brief

I am looking to have a logo created for my mental health blog. The logo should look very intriguing and should capture peoples attention, while still being able to clearly make out what is being represented. Some words to think of are 'growth, balance, roots, mental health, strength, change, improvement, resilience'.

The symbol is to represent the two sides of being bipolar; one positive and one negative. I initially thought a yin yang symbol would be ideal, but to offer more creative freedom, you may create anything that you think shows the balance between the good and the bad in life.

The logo has to look good on its own. It should be able to be printed on a t-shirt or a hat and capture everyone's attention while still representing mental health. It has to be stylish yet captivating. The logo is to represent bipolar disorder or the double-sided mentality that many suffer from. It must be recognizable standing on its own and make a statement in itself.
