Contest Brief

These designs will eventually become embroidered logo/emblem/patch for hats not posters. Best fitting dimensions are 4in x 3in and smaller. The winner will be something that is simple enough to be stitched into a hat but also has creativity. The submissions will be judged cumulatively. We want a submission for 1 and 2.

1. An ORIGINAL design that deals with the Grateful Dead ( a band ) it must encompass their culture. For this do different designs with the dancing bear upload and the bolt.

Artist should include themes:
-- about JAM BANDS (such as PHISH, Widespread Panic, Grateful Dead, ect... and trends within this community
-- about psychedelic art
--sacred geometry art

2. A rendition of the Turtle/Terrapin design, it must encompass the psychedelic art. We want some with the earth inside the turtle shell but feel free to use your creativity. See attached document for this one.
