I need a logo re-design

Contest Brief

I made my own logo years ago and it's outdated and tacky! I have an example of one I'd like it to look more like. I don't know that that's really possible, but I 'd like it to at least be more updated! And next be a little more elegant or sophisticated. Not expecting it to get all the way to the other person's logo. (Obviously mine is the one with the pink stripes) The pink stripes may be the only thing I still like about it. Oh, did I mention it still needs to be somewhat recognizable to my regular customers? (sorry)
