Contest Brief

Design brand logo, decide name, colours fonts and other elements for an upcoming sushi brand in India. This is the first brand to sell packaged sushi for takeaway in retail shops. Starting from the capital New Delhi it is poised to be successful on a national scale.

Requirements
1. Design should be attractive, this product will be placed in Seven Eleven type shops and supermarkets in refrigerated foods section. Where everything, like beverages, candy, microwave food is all attractive looking. Our products need to stand out, although it already stands out since it's sushi in clear plastic packaging.
2. Sticker should fit this packaging - http://hirofood.com/product/ST/ST-2.html
3. This brand should appeal to international audience, in the age range of 21 to 35 who have knowledge of English language and are familiar with Japanese culture, through Hollywood movies and anime.
4. Name and Design should show that brand is Japanese, that it's Japanese sushi.
5. Should not be the following
- Very cute or cartoonish like, Hello Kitty
- Very Japanese, to a point where people can't understand unless they are Japanese
- Should not be Indian or Indian fusion (People hate that pretentiousness)
6. Should not be similar to existing brands/competition, like;

    Question: Do you also need dielines for your sticker design, so that you will have a ready template for printing? Or do you only need the design to see how it will look?

    Currently working on it! When you say the Packaging should look japanese to the point where japanese can understand it, do you mean that the packaging should be in Japanese?
