Contest Brief

Hello Everyone!

For our new website (online shop) we need a logo and favicon.

The logo we are looking for has to be something "special" and unique. The icon must be able to stand for its own. Sometimes it is not possible to write the company name under the logo, so we want customers to think "oh that´s Lauries" when looking at single icon. We want the icon to have a modern touch- less is more.

New logo should have following information:

- Lauries
( please use a clear a simple letter type such as e.g. Arial or something similar)

Although we are mainly selling equestrian goods, it´s not necessary that the logo contains a horse. We want to be able to use the logo for selling other items, too.

-If you like, you are free to attach a second word, e.g. equestrian, I´m curious on your ideas!

-You may not use more than two colours.

- Logo should be simple and clean and therefore easy to be recognized

- attached you can see our old logo, but this one is "too much" and very expensive to be printed or stiched on sponsor items

I´m looking forward on your ideas.

The winning logo has no similarity to your logo. I rated the logos I liked to give designers an idea what logos are appealing to us and which are not. If you don´t feel comfortable that someone else then you won the contest, then maybe you should not compete. Taking part in contests still is voluntarily.

I´m sorry, but where is any similarity between your entry and the winner? As I told you in pm, your entry from the former contest was one of our favourites. IN CASE we would have decided that we want to buy your logo you should make an entry so that we could buy it and close the contest. You never got that notification from me. You made this entry because you decided to, NOT because you were asked to.

  We awarded the logo from which we thought it fits the company best. Not that one who´s entry was the first in it´s kind.

  And yes you are right, there have been many good ideas and many good jobs done. But in the end you have to make a decision. You can´t buy and use more than one logo.

  no hubo ganador... en el concurso anterior... yo quede primero en ese concurso pero el cliente no escogio a nadie y decidio volverlo hacer y yo volvi a presentar mi idea, solo que el cliente no se decide, lo que si veo son bastantes imitaciones de mi diseño presentado
