Housenote Logo Brief
Housenote is an interior design firm that seeks to target middle income home owners looking to renovate or sell their homes. Our services include full renovations, styling for sale, furniture and finish selection and shopping expeditions. Our offering will include an interior design blog which will cover a wide range of home and design topics. In the future we may also sell homewares online. The business model will include growing a network of interior designers to operate throughout Australia.
Imagines conjured up when considering this brand include the neutral colour schemes, marble, linen, buxus hedges, grey and white striped fabrics, silver fixtures, rustic timbers, French Provincial and Hamptons Styles.
The colour palette: I would like the word Housenote in charcoal grey. there can be one accent colour for a graphic which could be a soft blue or green for .
I am changing the brief as the graphics of pens and houses aren't quite fitting the image we image we want to portray. Think a small garden gate, topiary or a double iron gate as might be seen on an expensive home. We aniticipate using Housenote on most materials however will use Housenote Interior Design on specific documentation.
The winning designer may be invited to prepare the logo in a variety of formats for different uses and may also secure further ad-hoc graphic design work with us.

Hi all, there are some great work coming through which is really appreciated. I still haven't felt like we've found the right graphic, though fonts and treatments of the word Housenote have been great so if we don't get the graphic right I'll select on a winner based on this. But ideally I'd like to have a final product by the end of the competition. To give a little more guidance, I'm now thinking a one colour graphic of a garden gate to the left of the word HOUSENOTE, may be preferable to trying to tie in notes or houses. I'd like the word Housenote to be in charcoal grey and the colour of the picket fence would be interchangeable depending on marketing material used: a light grey, a green and a blue. The prize is still up for grabs!

Thanks for your entry Mohamed. At the moment its a little too decorative. I'd like the Housenote to be one work in capitals. I wonder how it would like with simply the word Housenote and your house symbol made a little smaller?
