Contest Brief

Design a logo for a veterinary clinic and boarding facility that is currently being built in Alaska. The 12,000 sq. ft. facility will support a staff of 4-6 veterinarians and will offer an emergency vet clinic, conditioning clinic, regular vet services, high end boarding, high end kennelling, and high end medical boarding. This will be the medical center a pet owner would go to when the veterinarians in their local area aren’t equipped to handle his or her pet’s care needs. This facility will offer all of the cutting edge care, equipment, and procedures that a pet may need, as well as a modern approach to veterinary medicine. The facility’s name was selected because this term is used to describe elite military forces in the United States. The founder was a U.S. Army Ranger.

The logo should incorporate the brand colors: gunmetal grey with blue highlights. Blue color not defined. Logo should include an icon/emblem and stylized text emphasizing the name with Veterinary Medical Center in smaller text. The emblem may depict pets in motion (perhaps a dog, cat and bird). The founder likes the idea of “active pets”. Creativity is encouraged.

The winning design should be delivered in vector format.
