Contest Brief
We are launching a new company to provide inventory services to the real estate market in the UK and require a new logo and branding.
As a company, Honeycomb Inventories will offer a modern & professional service (however, we do not want the company to come across as too corporate). We want to project a professional but approachable image, to show that we have a personality and so as not to alienate private landlords from contacting us.
I haven't attached any logo designs as examples as we are very open regarding this. However, the following are features we would like involved/not included in the design or are some rough guidelines on our thought process on this -
-One of the reasons we have named it Honeycomb is because the structure of the hexagon denotes stability and links to the property industry so if someone can come up with an inventive way to use the honeycomb/hexagon shape they will catch our interest straight away.
-We don't want a stereotypical corporate style design such as a roofline above some text. Take the opportunity to be creative as we chose honeycomb because it isn't stereotypical and leaves room for projecting a personable and fun style. As our current tagline says, 'We are proud to Bee different!
-In terms of colour, we do not want the standard bright yellow and black as per a Bee or just gold as per Honeycomb. I like the idea for example of a combination of mustard yellow and dark grey/Dark blue. Again feel free to be creative with this.
-With regards to wording, we will be signing up our cars with the branding so this needs to be easy to read. We don't want something too dated such a Times New Roman and ideally it will be an uncommon font so that the branding really stands out as different (As per our tagline)
-We don't want anything cartoony such as a bee with a generic bees nest!
**Just as an update based on the submissions we have received so far, our tagline is 'Proud to Bee different' not 'we are proud to bee different' **

****I have added some attachments because I'm disappointed so far with the lack of creativity of some designs regarding the hexagon. As per the attached there is so much variation to what you can do with the honeycomb shape. Let's see some creative designs!****
