Contest Brief

I am looking for someone to create a logo for my new small sole trader handmade (by myself) jewellery business – Elegracie. This name is formed from my own name Stephanie Grace and the word elegance. My name – Stephanie - means garland (like a flower tiara or a tiara made from nature such as twigs and feathers) so I would like to incorporate this into my logo, but I am open to ideas. I need an image that portrays the hippy style. I think an image rather than letters would be better to express my business. Either way, I would like my style of jewellery to be portrayed in my logo.

The jewellery will be made out of silver and gold so it is not costume jewellery although it is more on a handmade level than “fine jewellery”. I would say the style of my jewellery will be feminine, hippy, colourful, well made, high quality and affordable, aiming at the market of 18-50 yr old females, but I would also like it to have the universal aspect that I would be able to branch into mens jewellery as well.

I have designs in mind and images of work that I have made for friends and family, but I am yet to put together a collection seeing as I have just started this new business venture. I need logo files for use on my website, selling platforms, social media, labels/tissue paper and packaging, and invoices or paper work. I will attach some images of the type of things I have made in the past and some drawings of the kind of layout that I require in my logo. I would like some copies of the logo with a subtitle of "handmade jewellery" underneath. One typeface I like is "cinzel decor" so anything feminine yet bold to make it memorable and targeting the audience but also easily read (not too swirly). I HAVE ADDED the colours I like, so deep purple for Elegracie and lilac for the handmade jewellery.

Please only enter images on a plain white backing rather than on paper or a store front. Use your creativity but fit the brief. Thanks for your interest in this project.

“Understood exactly what I needed and fit the brief but still used his own creativity. Would definitely recommend.”
