Contest Brief

We're seeking a creative cartoonist to design a monkey character in a playful, cartoonish style. This character will be the only one in an online game environment we're developing.

- The Animal: The monkey goes by the name of Charity and she is blind. Your artistic insight will be valuable in bringing this character to life with a strong personality and in an inoffensive manner.
- Style: A cartoonish style is what we're after. The monkey should be likable, engaging, and capable of displaying emotions of joy, disappointment and surprise i.e., very human in nature.
- Setting: The monkey will be appearing alongside an online game and will be set against a blank/plain background.

Ideal skills for this project include character design, digital illustration, and a keen eye for playful, engaging cartoon artistry. Upon bidding, please include examples of previous animal character designs and any relevant work within the gaming sector.

  Couldn't agree with you more - and you clearly have read it, so thank you. Most of the images provided are far to babyish as well which again yours isn't. But yours is still a way off. I suggest losing her stick and making her appear cocky and confident. In the game she is competing with the actual players so I want them to be wary of her. Happy to answer any specific questions you may have.
