Contest Brief

Hello, we are having a DESIGN ONLY contest to search for the world's best website graphic designer. We are a women's American football league, and we are looking for a very talented person or company to design a coming soon page for our upstart league. The winning designer will not only earn the prize money, but will also be the front runner in all future design projects for our league.

We are looking for a sports entertainment vibe, much like the NFL (National Football League). Some words that come to mind when thinking of the page we desire are: Exciting, Strong, Clean, Wow, Simple, Sports Entertainment.

Heavy Branding is desired.

Colors of choice: Logo colors
Red
Blue
White
Black

Some things we would like our page to include:
Contact Us button - With Spam fighting Form
Subscribe Button - For Fan Email sign-up
Social media icons, Facebook, Twitter, Intstagram, YouTube, Google+ RSS.

We are considering adding Intro music, so please keep that in mind, and add it to your design.

Here is a little more info about us, please use what you feel works for your design concept. Its not necessary to use everything.

We ARE the Women's Football League

We have included a copy of our logo, which we feel should be the main focus since this is just a coming soon page. Which by the way, there is no need to place the words "Coming Soon" on the page.

We have also included a photo should you wish to use it in your design. We will purchase additional photos for your design, should you find others that are more suitable for your design concept. We will only buy photos directly from the photo source and only for the winning design we choose. We will add a total of 5 photos for you to consider.

The winning designer will also need to provide us with all design files, and message us the cost to do the background/coding work to activate it on our hosting account if you are able or interested in doing the background work.

Please do not place any design by or powered by links on the page.

Lastly, we are looking for a modern and responsive design. Also please message us the cost to do basic SEO, if you are interested and able to do so.

We are open to any and all design concepts, from flash to animation to static. Be as creative or simple as you wish, we will respond to all submissions either by a star rating or a written message.

Hello CH,

Thanks for the extension, prize increase and sealing the contest.

As per your question before a few days, design is totally different than development, design provides you with an image of how your page is expected to look like, while development is making it really work including form submissions, responsiveness and other things.

I do the work as a designer and developer, so I should be alble to deisgn your page and make it actually work.

So, even the $210 might not be enough for both, they are a good encouragement for the design, but not both the design and development.

I will submit my entry in a short time, then we could have a chat then I can make it completely functional.
