Contest Brief
I am looking for a highly skilled graphic designer to create a compelling logo for a brand new Airline Training Academy. The logo should incorporate blue and red colours, our core hues. The company is based in Switzerland whose flag carries a specific red colour.
Key logo elements should include:
- An airliner: The logo must feature a jet airliner, which can be specifically, a Boeing 747.
- Swiss flag: Please see if you can incorporate this into the design in a fluid and creative manner. Logos without the flag will also be condsidered.
- Symbol of a training organization could be included: We're open to suggestions on additional images that represent a training organization, on a previous suggestion a silhouette of a student was used but this image is not a requirement.
- Global reach: We want a symbol or design that effectively communicates our global reach though shows the Swiss heritage through the flag.
The style of the logo should be professional, targeting airline industry, training institutions and students. Ideal candidates for the project may have prior experience designing logos for training institutions or have a deep understanding of the aviation industry. Expertise in designing professional-style logos is a must.

Hello all. Thank you for some very good entries. Just a tip on how we are currently choosing:
1. Any logos with light aircraft will not work - this is a business aimed at airline clients.
2. Many logos are being given less stars as they make emphasis of: THE SWISS but then the main topic: Airline Training Academy almost disappears as it is rendered really small. The central concept of the business is airline training and thus Airline Training Academy should not be lost in detail.
3. Logos which are possible to embroider are being given preference.
4. Logos which show the country of Switzerland as a central theme and thus lose the concept of "global reach" are being rejected in general.
