Contest Brief
I need a logo and label for a peruvian craft beer.
My beer name is Kallpa, in quechua it means Strong and Power.
The logo to be designed is based on the Samson logo I found in the web, but the characters have to be different. Samson should be replaced by Viracocha (he's a god equivalent to Zeus in Inca culture) and the lion should be replaced by a Mountain Lion (it's also a god in Inca culture).
The beer label should be shaped (it's up to you) but it's maximum dimensions are 19cm width and 8cm height. It's going to be used in 330ml beer bottle (http://solemsac.com/index.php/botellas/botellas-ver-todos/cerveza-artersanal-330-cc.html).
I'm going to have 4 beer types at the moment: IPA, Irish Red, Porter (brown/black) and a Wheat Beer, the label should be the same but with different colors.
10% of the label have to be reserved for the message: "Tomar bebidas alcoholicas en exceso es dañino". It's a regulatory constraint. Also in the front it have to display the quantity (330ml) and alcohol volume. I should be able to change that.
There has to be room to put a description what Kallpa means, and also a reference for the beer type. It should show also the ingredients: Water, Hops, Malt and Yeast. Maybe it can be shown with some graphic representation.
Also some space for barcode.
As a sample I've attached a peruvian beer label.
UPDATE:
- I've attached the logo in JPEG. Use this logo for the beer label. The colors can be changed.
- For the label, it HAS TO BE 19cm width and 8cm height. Use the beer labels I've sent you as a reference.
- The label main size is rectangular, but it can have other shape. It has to be mainly rectangular.
- Remember the regulatory space for text "TOMAR BEBIDAS ALCOHOLICAS EN EXCESO ES DAÑINO", it has to be 10% label's space, and also a place for barcode.
