The hardest part of building a company is mostly finding the right people!
But who are the right people?
I strongly believe that every skill can be learned, so great skills and experiences will not make a person automatically the right fit.
It is mostly about the right attitude!. This is something that is hard to learn and only a few are really willing to change!
A very skilled person with the wrong attitude can be like cancer in your company!
What is the right attitude?
- Seeing yourself as a part of a company and not just a number!
- If I work better, I eventually will be paid better (instead of -> If I get paid better, I will work better)
- Always going the extra mile! Standing out from the crowd.
- Always give 110%. The time I spend at work, I work and do not play around and distract myself on social media! The time will pass anyway, so I'd rather use it fully!
- Always be the hardest worker in the room.
- Observe --> reflect --> learn --> repeat!
- Take and give constructive Feedback
- I am here to serve, not to take. (What can I give here, instead of what can I get out of here)
