I am an experienced and results-oriented technician, with a broad range of skills, encompassing; classic imperative programming, object-oriented programming, scripting and web development using Python and JavaScript, implementation of mathematical and scientific processing in C# and Python, database architecture and development. My experience includes the architecture and build of; trading systems, programming for hardware devices, quantitative analysis, risk modelling, performance analysis, UI design and architecture, making specific performance enhancements to existing systems, building reusable components for large teams of downstream developers and training/mentoring junior developers. At this point in my career I’m looking to move away from consulting and into a more permanent situation, where I can make a greater positive contribution over a more extended period.
