Primary work deliverable was an in-depth cost/benefit/risk analysis focused around the three main activities of development: Land rehabilitation/grass seed harvesting, livestock fattening, and consultancy. The document was used as a business proposal by the directors in reaching out to investors.

Conducted an intense data analysis of previous agriculture projects conducted by GOAL. The projects included the evaluation of 3 agriculture projects in Zimbabwe including post planting, pre-harvest and post-harvest datasets. The overreaching theme of my time with GOAL was exploring big data’s role in development, including how data can be used to create synergy across multiple projects and how to best structure field data for future analysis across projects

I primarily worked with meta datasets to develop economic impact models used to rank potential FDI targets. The goal of the models were to reduce a fairly large list of potential projects to a more management list that could narrow the focus of the international trade team and increase the probability of a ‘Win’.
