Jan 2016 - Present

Our motivation is to design and implement the Cairo University Graphics Processing Unit(CUGPU), one of the first embedded GPUs in Egypt. We propose the CUGPU architecture based on Common- Lite (CL) profile of the Open Graphics Library for Embedded System 1.1 (OpenGL ES 1.1). We develped a MATLAB model and C++ model. We generated VHDL based RLT model. after that we made FPGA prototype. finally we made a demo illustrating GPU specs.
