I graduated from Ankara University, one of the top universities in Turkey. My major is Korean Language and Literature. I worked in a Korean Company named Woongjin Eversky as sales Support specialist for 1 year and 3 months . I was responsible of translating legal and all other sorts of documents, interpreting especially in meeting, obtaining working visa and residence permit and other needed certifications needed for our Korean employees, training sales employees and after-sales service team members, managing the service team in branches such a İstanbul, Ankara and İzmir, after-sale service schedule and making routes, carrying out customer satisfaction surveys through phone, data entry to system and such works. After that I worked in a JV company named Hanwha Kalyon Solar Technologies Production Company. It's under a government project called YEKA which aims to produce electricity power with solar panels. It's the first large-scale project regarding solar energy in Turkey. Unfortunately, the JV partners separated after almost 1 year so I started working at the Özver Construction Company which was rebuilding the Korean Embassy Building in Turkey,Ankara. I mainly did consecutive interpretation at meetings between Korean Contractor and Özver as the subcontractor and on site interpretation between Korean and Turkish employees when necessary. Besides that I did written translation of official documents such as official letters, drawings, specifications, approvals or other sort of application documents.
As of now, I am working at Lotte Chemical Turkey, which is the quartz slab production factory of the Lotte Group, 5th largest group in South Korea, as an executive assistant. I am actively using Korean-English and Turkish while consecutive interpreting at meetings between our Korean executives and local employees at office or on site. I have been actively working and using Korean/English and Turkish for 6 years 7 months.
