Projects Completed:
Designed the architecture and implemented a complex ASP application replacing 60 related legacy websites. Session state is maintained using native ASP objects.
Developed a Data Access Layer COM component, installed to MTS, which isolated critical databases from the Presentation and Middle tier components in a four tier distributed application.
Developed distributed Access application to monitor hospital clinical and financial data in support of Medicaid contract negotiations. These contracts represent many billions of dollars of hospital services and a billion dollars in annual savings to the State of California.
Design, normalize and maintain multiple critical databases. Develop and maintain DTS projects. Develop stored procedures, triggers, views. Developed T-SQL routines to modify and migrate critical data from a legacy database to a normalized relational SQL Server database.
Developed Intranet access for NT users on the other side of a non-trusted NT Domain boundary with customized security, logging and functionality provided by an MTS component.
Developed ASP routines to display numerous Press Releases to various Internet sites and many other document types to the Intranet based upon database look-ups. Developed ASP routines to display SQL Server data to Internet and Intranet sites.
Coded CDONTS email capability into websites to subscribe to eNewsletters and respond to surveys. Added email functionality to Intranet for ordering brochures to be designed for Members.
Using ASP and Windows NT security groups, designed an ASP security layer to protect Intranet tools from unauthorized use.
