I need an application which takes screen snapshots and produces a movie (avi file). It must also record the sound (see below)
When the application is run it shows a small window with the following button options: NEW, START, PAUSE, STOP.
When the new button is clicked a new form is displayed where the user selects the following:
- Capture Entire Screen (radio button)
- Capture Screen Area (radio button)
- Capture mouse cursor (Checkbox)
- File Name (File selection)
- Capture Sound (checkbox)
- capture from microphone (radio button)
- capture all sounds (radio button)
When the user clicks "START" the screen capturing begins. The "PAUSE" button pauses the capturing process. The "STOP" button stops the capturing process and a raw (uncompressed) AVI file is produced.
When the user clicks the "PRODUCE" button a new form is displayed with the following options
- Choose video compressions drop down (lists all codecs installed on user computer)
- Compressed file name (file selction)
- Compress (button)
Additional requirements
- There should be a slider to specify the frame frequency. (Frames Per Second). Min value = 3 - Max Value = 24 (for example).
- while the application is capturing the snapshots it becomes minimized into the system tray displaying an icon
- When this sys tray icon is clicked the application main form is restored
The application must work on Windows XP, 7, Vista, 2003, 2008 both 32 and 64 bit versions.
