Web2.0 Designer and landing page expert Multiple projects

Budget: $10,000 + We are looking for an experienced, full-time interactive designer to join our creative team. This is for a FULL TIME, in house position. The model candidate will have at least three (3) years of web design experience with advanced skills in HTML/CSS and user-centered design best practices. Candidate must be a team player able to communicate well, and have the ability to juggle multiple projects, proactively solve problems, and deliver against tight-deadlines in a fast paced environment. The Web Designer must be able to work in a team atmosphere and possess a positive, can-do attitude. The ideal candidate will have exceptional creative talent while remaining flexible, reliable, and focused during both basic and complex creative projects. The candidate must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment while paying close attention to detail and meeting required deadlines. RESPONSIBILITIES: *Main responsibility will be to develop static and dynamic web sites, and online banner ads with an emphasis on maximizing web optimization. *Other responsibilities may include designing various online marketing material including Flash banner ads, email/HTML creatives, pop-unders, landing pages, and other related projects. *Provide outstanding creative, visual design and technical skills with an understanding of visual design principles including color theory, typography, layout, user interface elements and production techniques. *Work closely with the Marketing Director to create and implement projects by designing, creating, and executing assets for traditional and online marketing materials *Generate creative ideas for client projects and deliver imaginative comps. Must be able to perform research and find relevant stock photos, and offer relevant ideas and suggestions during brainstorming sessions and other portions of the project cycle. *Employ user-centered design techniques and design best practices to promote positive online user experience. REQUIREMENTS: *BS Degree or higher in Web/Graphic Design and/or relevant experience a must. *Must be expert in: Photoshop, Illustrator, ImageReady, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS and Web Standards; Experience in Flash and ActionScript a plus. *Experience in illustration and landing page development a preferred. *Strong portfolio with a range of creative samples that demonstrate relevant work or projects. *Advanced understanding of web design best practices, including usability, user-centered design, information architecture, and interface/navigation design *Technical proficiency and a substantive knowledge of CSS and XHTML *Must possess a positive attitude and a positive outlook (no half-empty glasses welcome) COMPENSATION: *Competitive Salary, with Bonus Opportunities OUR OFFICE/CULTURE: In our hiring process we look for motivated, dedicated and well-rounded individuals who not only want to be part of something great, but also help us become greater!
