Brief: I would like the above design fully developed into a CMS site. Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal.. whichever CMS is easy to code design into and also allows for the following features.
Features:
# RSS FEEDS
# Nanny Network/Sitter solutions – Take a look at this page. [url removed, login to view] Pretty hideous but functionality is there. (Is there a way to keep in mind that this might expand beyond essex county therefore we may need to narrow down the areas? Bergen county, essex county, etc... For now keep essex?)
# Google Map Integration – Just need to find a way that maybe “Parks” would be the main button, and a drop down that we can add along the way will pull parks from say, essex county, then bergen county etc...
Google API KML is a good solution to show nearby parks.
# Classifieds – A few sections where people can post things they want to sell or things they need. Again, may need to narrow down by location down the road, essex county, bergen county, etc
# Discussion Board
# AD MANAGER – most important thing. I can place ads on home page and/or inside pages. They would rotate on reload of page. See [url removed, login to view] VERY SIMILAR. (need to track ads, can I track by month?)
# Would love to integrate paypal to advertise with us page. So they can just enter cc info right there and I can easily manage the cost of the paypal right there on cms manager.
# Activity Directory – I would list kid classes etc... Through cms tool with a picture.
# Upcoming Events – I would manually add events with featured event on home page
# Blog – Place for people to upload blogs (not sure this is necessary, if it drives price up, I can take it or leave it)
# Special Finds – Place for me to add picture and blurb about someones product.
# Kid Friendly Restaurants – Place for me to do list view of restaurants, or possibly have a picture with restaurant. Not sure how I think this section should work... Would love to list alphabetically and click for more so they can see a pic? Or info? Gotta figure this out if you have any ideas...
Most of these features can be setup in 2 minutes using most CMS
I can provide other projects if this is done to satisfaction.
Because this project may take some time I will not be escrowing the full amount, but will deposit amounts to escrow as I see more work from winning bidder.
