We are looking for male and female voice over artists with Scottish accents This is for an animated children's Christmas story which is set in the Highlands of Scotland. We need a fairly soft accent so so can be easily understood by all, especially those who's second language is English, ie the American market ;) , and would prefer authentic Scottish accents, unless they are indistinguishable from the real thing. The 'jobs' are mainly for characters, male female, young and old, plus we are looking for a narrator, which will be the bulk of the 'story telling', we are looking to test male and females for this. Please send relevant examples of your work and confirm whether you have your own recording facilities. We are happy for actors to take on multiple rolls if they sound good! I do dramatic character voices, I'd love to help. Please listen to the samples in my portfolio. There are a number of quirky voices available to listen to and if you hit the show more button you can find an example of my Scottish accent. I can do much more. My name is Christopher Haynie and I currently do half of the voice work and writing for Pauperganda, A Magic the Gathering fan site. I have two children and have spent many nights reading to them. I am confident I can help with a character or two or as the narrator. I have my own recording facilities here but I do not have ISDN.
